There are a lot of great cabins along the rivers of Tahoe. The North Upper Truckee River and the American River have both private (or normal) cabins as well as Forest Service cabins. The Forest Service cabins are generally much less expensive, but do have restrictions. This search is set up to help you find cabin that are on the river in any of the areas near South Lake Tahoe.
